Gary was born in Cedar Rapids, IA, but grew up in and calls Fargo, ND home.  After graduating from North Dakota State University, Gary was drafted and sent to the US Army Signal School for "computer training".   Gary returned to Fargo and found work at Northwestern Bell Telephone.  Gary had AT&T work assignments in Grand Forks, ND, Minneapolis, MN, and Milwaukee, WI .  Retirement from AT&T came in 1998 after 28 years.

Gary has been married to Katherine for 35 years and they have two boys and one grandson.  The Foxes have been residents of Anthem for two years.  One of the biggest incentives to move here was the woodshop and a club with a group of folks that have so many talents and great stories.  Gary has done lots of woodworking projects over the years and upon retirement really got serious.
