Update: August 26, 2010            !! Here's what's NEW !!

Holzmeister Eckhard's creations continues to range from the sublime to the stupendous!  For a story about never giving up, ask Eckhard to tell you how the vase came in being.  The engine and tender, unfortunately, is too big for any of our display cases. Click a pic.

Despite the "Dog Days" of Summer, members continue to complete projects for themselves and members of the SCA Community.  Click a pic.  From left to right we have:

* Fireplace Surround for the Smiths by Forrest Fetherolf and Scott Sturman

* The Mother of all Fish Tanks by "Wrangler" Dick Hollis

* Book & Wine Cabinet by Bill Hehn, with a little help from Bob Tank

* Cheese Board and Bowl by Richard Einsiedel (Congrats on making our site!)

* Bowl turned by Bob Smith (Congrats on your first Cluster 12B project!)

* TV Shelf for the Janssens by Forrest and Scott

Thanks to Dick Hollis, the Woodchips Wranglers are ready to "head them off at the pass".  Ready to "saddle up" are Joe Mazza, Terry Weiss, Terry Jones, Bob Smith and Eddie Chou.  I understand that Dick is going to volunteer to form another posse in the Fall, so watch for an announcement, Buckaroos.  CLICK to view the herd.

Beware, Hollywood, Woodchips' Los Tres Amigos: John Cochran, Armand Maranda and Phil Menser, are coming Under the guidance of Armand, John and Phil made their guitars.  Armand has a horse, courtesy of Dick Hollis, but the other two will need to get a gig to earn some money so that they, too, can ride as they play.  Hmmm.  Maybe first they need to learn to play the guitars?  CLICK to view Los Caballeros and their guitars.

Not only has John Cochran not got over his piano-themed cutting boards monomania; he's acquired a new obsession: pens and pencils that would please even the most demanding Captain of Industry.  You can see the pens and pencils in our display case in the Fitness Center.  Click each pic.

Bob Tank agreed to let the Club display one of his creations in our show cases in the Anthem Center Fitness Center.  So far, modest Bob has refused to give a name to that work, so we have decided to call it "Einstein's Space Piano".  Go see it!  CLICK

A video Tip of the WEEK will be found by clicking on "ASK WOODY" icon.  All the tips are courtesy of Woodsmith Magazine and will be archived under the TIPS tab on the Home page.  Check it out weekly!

If you ever had a doubt about whether the SawStop saws we have in the shop would really work...watch this video.  But remember....we want NO MORE TESTIMONIALS.
